By accessing this Website and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Scope of the Service
We sell original artworks on paper and high-quality printed reproductions ("Prints") globally from London, UK. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
2. Artworks and Prints (Product Descriptions)
Original Artworks: Every original piece is unique. Due to the nature of physical mediums, slight natural imperfections on the paper or edges may be present and are part of the character of the work.
Prints: Prints are reproductions of original works.
Colour Accuracy: We make every effort to display the colours and textures of our artwork as accurately as possible on screen. However, because computer monitors and mobile screens vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will perfectly match the physical product.
3. Pricing and Payments
All prices are displayed in GBP (£).
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice.
Payment is processed securely via our checkout providers (PayPal, Stripe, and/or Squarespace Payments). We do not store your financial details.
Your order is only confirmed once payment has been cleared and you receive an Order Confirmation email.
4. International Shipping, Customs, and Import Duties
We ship worldwide from London, UK. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of the package.
Customs & Import Taxes: If you order products for delivery outside the United Kingdom, they may be subject to import duties, taxes, or handling fees levied by the destination country.
You (the buyer) are solely responsible for paying any such local duties, customs clearance charges, or taxes. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
5. Delivery Times and Damage in Transit
We aim to dispatch items within 5-7 business days of receiving your order. Estimated delivery times are guides only and are not guaranteed.
Original artworks and prints are packed securely in protective packaging. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, you must contact us at literaldog2026@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the damage to both the packaging and the artwork.
6. UK & International Cancellation and Returns
In accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, your rights regarding returns depend on what you purchased:
Original Artwork and Standard Prints: You have the right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items.
Custom / Made-to-Order Prints: If a print is custom-sized, framed to order, or uniquely commissioned at your request, it is non-refundable unless it arrives faulty or damaged.
Return Process: To initiate a return, you must email us first. You must return the item in its original, undamaged condition and in its original packaging within 14 days of notifying us.
Return Costs: The buyer is responsible for paying all return shipping costs. For your protection, we highly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot issue a refund for items lost or damaged in transit back to us.
7. Intellectual Property and Copyright (Crucial for Artists)
When you purchase an original artwork or a print, you are buying the physical object only.
Copyright Reserved: All copyrights, reproduction rights, and intellectual property rights to the artwork remain strictly with the artist Tibor Antal / literaldog.com
You may not screenshot, save, scan, copy, reproduce, resell, or exploit the artwork or prints for any commercial purpose whatsoever without express, prior written permission from us.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Tibor Antal aka literaldog.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website or the purchase of any artwork. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of an order shall not exceed the total price paid for the goods in that specific order.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The version of the Terms active at the time of your purchase will apply to your order.
